Today Ying Xuan and I had our first official date. We went for dinner at Cha Cha Char situated at Eagle Street Pier, which is rated as Brisbane's best steak restaurant from 2003-2006. The restaurant ambiance is nice, but a tad too noisy. The service was good, and the food also came unexpectedly quick. Ying Xuan had the Scotch Fillet while I had the Rib Eye on the Bone. The steaks were cooked pretty well, although mine seem to fall more onto medium rare instead of the medium which I ordered. But overall, both of us enjoyed the food very much and we left the restaurant feeling both happy and full.
